February is, in fact, one of the best months to start playing: the groups are full of energy, and you’ll have just enough time to prepare for the major street events that arrive with the warm weather.
Why start your percussion classes now?

- Small groups: Unlike the crowded September sessions, February classes allow for more personalized guidance from Alex Rosa.

Beginner Workshop: No experience, no fear
Our Monday workshop is specifically designed for those who have never picked up a drumstick before. It doesn’t matter if you think you have no rhythm; under the direction of Mestre Alex Rosa (percussionist of the legendary Ilê Aiyê), you’ll discover that the rhythm is already within you.
